As a rule-breaker and innovator, you remind us of activist Victoria Woodhull. Long before Hillary Clinton pursued the highest office in the U.S., Victoria Woodhull threw her hat in the ring. The year was 1872, when women did not even have the right to vote. She was a true rule-breaker, running for office at age 31, although presidential candidates must be at least 35, but never mind. She advocated for people's right to divorce, women's right to a fair wage, and civil rights for Blacks. She once said, "I have a brain and a uterus, and I use both." Like Victoria Woodhull, you always question the status quo. Never let anyone tell you that something is right just because people have always done it that way.

Harriet Tubman

Because you’re often on the front lines, protesting or otherwise working to promote social justice, you remind us of Harriet Tubman. She was a slave who became a spy and formed the Underground Railroad to help other slaves escape. She guided approximately 70 people to freedom, including members of her immediate family. Her first husband did not join Harriet on her journey, but she continued her work without him. During her rescue missions, she wore disguises, sang songs to indicate safety or danger, and followed the stars. Like Harriet Tubman, you are resourceful and determined. You thrive on adventure, travel, and perhaps a bit of danger. You are loyal to your family and friends, even risking your own safety and security at times, and they love you for it.

Marie Curie

You take a back seat to no man, especially in matters of intellect or career advancement. You remind us of Marie Curie, the first woman to win a Nobel Prize—and, just to cement her position, the first person to win two. Along with her husband, Pierre, she discovered polonium and radium, and she also helped to improve X-ray technology. As a young woman, she lived on buttered bread and tea to put herself through school. Like Marie Curie, you have a superior intellect and unwavering focus. You always complete assignments and often exceed expectations. Just remember to take a break once in a while and maybe indulge in a guilty pleasure.

Trieu Thi Trinh

You may live a “normal” life right now, but deep inside you are a warrior. Like Trieu Thi Trinh, Vietnam's woman warrior of the third century, you will defend your loved ones or your country if necessary. Trieu Thi Trinh led an army to victory against Chinese invaders. According to legend, when her brother tried to stop her, she said, "I want to ride the storm, tread the dangerous waves, win back the fatherland and destroy the yoke of slavery. I don't want to bow down my head, working as a simple housewife." Also, according to legend, she rode an elephant into battle. Like Trieu Thi Trinh, you are a badass warrior, ready to fight for what is right. You are brave and opinionated, and you won't be deterred, even by your closest loved ones, once you have chosen your path.
